Pre-Season Preview: Blissfield HS (LCAA)
February 5, 2013

Michigan Scouting Director
Perennial powerhouse Blissfield HS always seems to reload. There is an expectation in this small town that if you play baseball, you play it well. It all starts with Head Coach Larry Tuttle.
In his time at the helm Tuttle has amassed 1130 wins, which ranks first in the state and fourth nationally, and 7 State Championships.
Last season Blissfield blistered their conference for 10-0 record and a 31-7 overall record. In fact with Blissfield's conference championship in 2012, they ran their consecutive championship streak to 19.
In 2013, Blissfield will be looking to make that 20 in a row. According to Tuttle the 2013 team will be young and, dare we say, rebuilding. They only return two starters overall and one starting pitcher.
Junior Tyler Watters leads the group. The junior hit .375 and was 8-1 with a 2.25 ERA off the mound in 2012. Sophomore Alex Zaciewski will anchor the infield and assist on the mound.
But with history and tradition in Blissfield, don't count out the Royals. Expect them to play the game hard and the right way.
Young players to watch:
- Tyler Watters (P/INF)
- Alex Zaciewski (INF/RHP)
- Luke Cassaubon(C/OF)
- Dylan thonpson-(RHP/1B)
- Tyler Bevins (OF)
- Cody Wulf (3B/OF)
