Comments
4/2017 - Milton was the offense for Severna Park in their heartbreak loss in the State Semi finals. Milton showed why he should continue to be considered as one of the top hitters in the state. Smooth swing and load throughout with free hands and the ability to drive the baseball. Did so on the day with a deep drive to right center in the final frame to put the game tying run on second. Simple approach at the plate and consistently shows ability to barrel the baseball in game.
7.12.16 - 2018 Kody Milton (Maryland) continues to show his strength, quick hands, and pop at the plate. He launched a deep fly to left for a sac fly and then showed his ability to use the field lacing a line drive to right center that was grabbed by the a leaping second baseman of PA.
5.28.15 - 2018 Kody Milton hits from a slightly open stance with a short and direct path to the baseball. A quick barrel extends through the zone with pop to the middle of the field. Power potential as he continues to mature. Long and athletic frame (6-foot-2 190 pounds) should continue to fill out. Footwork has improved and shows soft hands at first.
2.21.15 - Kody Milton is a 6-foot-2 190-pound 1B/3B. Defensively he has fluid footwork and a quick clean exchange. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with a long arm action. His velocity at 1B was 67 mph. At the plate, Milton showed fast bat speed while being short to the ball and hitting from a balanced, slightly upright setup. He had good balance throughout his swing with a level bat path and fluid rhythm. He shows gap-to-gap hitting ability with power potential. His exit velocity was 82 mph and he ran a 7.80 60 yard dash. A very good 2018 prospect to follow, Milton has potential to improve even more as he gets stronger and improves his overall foot speed and his arm continues to get stronger.
