11.5.16 - Lanky, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash with a 1.73 10-yard split. Hits from a balanced, square set up. Short load to hitting position. Shorter swing path with hands that stay inside of ball throughout. Middle type approach and shows some power potential. Does nice job getting barrale on ball during BP. Exit velocity of 86 mph. Plus defender at first base. Moves well around the bag with active feet and soft hand with clean exchange. Gets rid of ball well on turns with accurate throws from a low slot. Infield velocity of 81 mph...Stretch only. High leg kick into slight drop n drive style lower half. Sound arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Whippy arm speed. Projectable body with more in the tank. Athletic finish with nice lower half. Fastball up to 85 mph with run on the pitch. Hides ball well with low slot release. Breaking ball ranged from 70-72 mph tight rotation and later break on the pitch, showed swing and miss potential and also a bigger breaking get-me-over style. Change was 71-73 mph with late sink on the pitch. Good arsenal and projectable body that should make a jump as he adds to his athletic frame.
8.19.16 2018 RHP showed a live, loose arm out of a high three-quarter slot on day one of the event. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder had late life on his fastball that topped at 85 mph and sat 81-83. His 11/5 breaking curveball at 72-74 had two-plane action and has a chance to be an out pitch at the next level. The member of Team Mid-Atlantic at the 2016 PBR Future Games has been up to 87 mph this summer.
8.4.16 - Seidler has a lankier athletic 6-2 frame that could fill out more. He has a smooth drop and drive delivery and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Short, loose, quick arm action and normal effort. Shoulders slightly uphill and slightly closed, strides out to a slightly closed landing with an athletic finish. Fastball had late sink, sitting 84-85. Sharp 10/4 curveball was 76. Pounded the strike zone and got a bunch of soft ground balls... is an athletic first baseman who handles the bag very well. Clean hands and quick reactions. Throws from a side arm angle and was 79 mph across the diamond. Short swing path at the plate and stays inside the ball well. Exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 7.28 60-yard dash.
6.3.16 - 2018 RHP/1B Joe Seidler has a projectable 6-foot-1 frame with room to add more. Pitches from the stretch only. High 3/4 arm angle, shorter arm action, simple delivery, pitches with regular effort, and creates fast arm speed at release. Pitched 83-86 in the first inning topping out at 87 mph. Fastball has late arm side run and some sink. Breaking ball has 11/5 action on the pitch. showed gradual break early and got better as the game progressed with tighter action and shape. Moves around the mound well and athletic that makes throws from different angles.
