8/5/15 - 6 foot 149 pounds with a long, lean, athletic, and projectable frame. At the plate he gets a good separation and has a short, flat swing with good bat speed that produces hard line drives to all fields. Behind the plate his transfer could be quicker, has average footwork, and a plus arm. He had the best catchers’ velocity down to second at 79 mph, a 2.06-2.10 pop time, and an 82 mph exit bat velocity. Boynton will definitely be able to play at the next level.

Lean athletic projectable frame with some strength in lower half. Had a short quick catchers arm with good arm strength and carry for his age. Throws were on line and around the bag. 2.06 pop time, 77 mph catchers velocity. Wide stance with good approach. Loose bat with some length and lift in bat path. Has some quickness in the hands. Power will come with physical maturity. Some pull power now. 79 mph exit bat speed velocity.
6 foot 149 pounds with a long, lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Loose live easy working arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Big arm circle in back with a high front side. Fluid delivery. Fast ball is crisp at 82-84 mph. Curve ball has tight ¾ rotation with occasional depth. Occasionally gets around it but very good rotation. Change up is a bit too hard but has good arm speed and good feel at 75-76 mph. A very good arm with a high ceiling. A lot of upside.
