10/23/16- Mississippi recruit. Stands at 6-foot, 170 pounds with a lean, athletic build. Makes the plays, shows quick hands, range, and charges the ball while playing short. Quick bat from the left side of the plate and displays the ability to use all of the field. Had a line drive single into left field during the game. Aggressive runner on the base paths.

6/5/16- Mississippi recruit, the 5-foot-11 165-pound middle infielder was very impressive at the plate all weekend. Servideo showed an advanced approach, short direct path driving balls from gap to gap. Servideo has a quiet, confident set up and knows exactly who he is as a hitter and executes that approach very well. Defensively he had good range with soft hands and an average arm. Played short most of the time, but most likely suited for second base. Played the game hard and aggressive, just a solid all around ballplayer.

3/22/16 - Mississippi commit. 5-foot-11, 165 pound infielder with a loose lean projectable body on a smaller frame. Loose live infield actions with soft quick hands. Good reads off ball with good first step quickness. Shows good infield instincts with above average range and plenty of arm to stay at that position. Loose left handed bat with good hitters hands. Some quickness in the bat but lacks physical strength. Stays inside ball well and uses the whole field. Goes backside well. Contact type hitter. Aggressive and hustles on the bases. Good overall baseball instincts.

3/4/16- Mississippi commit who stands at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds with a lean, athletic, and compact frame. Short, quick swing with good hitters’ hands. Stays inside the ball well and hits with authority to all fields. Quick, light feet in the field with soft hands and plenty of arm to stay at shortstop.

10/3/15- Ole Miss commit. Lean, athletic, and wiry frame. Open stance at the plate and gets a small separation for his load. Nice swing plane with good bat speed. Soft hands in the field with quick, light feet and plenty of arm to stay at SS. Loose and smooth actions all over the field and has good instincts.

9/27/15- Committed to Ole Miss

12/14/14 - Skinny young loose athletic projectable body. Loose actions with enough arm for SS. Aggressive angles. Good first step quickness with closing speed. Shows range. Loose quick bat with good approach and good path.  Bat will improve with added strength. Plays with energy.

2020 DRAFT: Servideo had a nice season as a second baseman last year, hitting .287/.429/.388 with 24 steals in 26 tries and took a big step forward as the everyday shortstop in the shortened 2020 season as a junior. He got off to a torrid start against Louisville, going 5-for-10 with three walks and an HBP. Most impressively, the left handed-hitting Servideo reached safely in all three plate appearances against one of the nation's toughest lefties, Reid Detmers. Servideo also played flawless defense at short, where his superb body control, sure hands, quick first step and plus arm strength all play nicely. Listed at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, Servideo appears more physical than he did a year ago, and he showed off some sneaky whip in his left handed swing with a towering home run down the right-field line. His patient offensive approach, advanced bat-to-ball skills, plus to double-plus speed and slick defensive actions give him a solid chance to be drafted inside the top 5 rounds this June. In the past, scouts questioned whether his bat has impact potential, but with a slash of .390/.575/.695 with five home runs in 17 games this spring, he began to show his upside.

2/15/20: Servideo had a nice season as a second baseman last year, hitting .287/.429/.388 with 24 steals in 26 tries. He looks primed to take a big step forward as the everyday shortstop now that he’s a junior, and he got off to a torrid start against Louisville, going 5-for-10 with three walks and an HBP, giving him a .643 OBP on the weekend. Most impressively, the lefthanded-hitting Servideo reached safely in all three plate appearances against one of the nation’s toughest lefties, Reid Detmers. Servideo ripped a high fastball from Detmers into the oppo gap in his first at-bat, then worked a hard-fought walk in his second trip, laying off tough breaking balls on 2-2 and 3-2. He waited on a curveball and ripped it to right field for an RBI single in his third trip. Servideo also played flawless defense at short, where his superb body control, sure hands, quick first step and plus arm strength all play nicely. Listed at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, Servideo appears more physical than he did a year ago, and he showed off some sneaky whip in his lefthanded swing with a towering home run down the right-field line on Sunday. His patient offensive approach, advanced bat-to-ball skills, plus to double-plus speed and slick defensive actions give him a solid chance to be drafted inside the top 10 rounds this June. In the past, scouts questioned whether his bat has impact potential, but if he proves he can drive the ball with authority over the course of the spring, his stock could really climb. (Fitt)

8/12/19: Slick-fielding Anthony Servideo (Ole Miss, 2020) is a plus defender with an average arm and plus range. Makes defense look easy, making both the routine and spectacular plays with plus hands, top scale body control and the ability to throw from all angles. Offensively, he is limited with well below average raw power and extra base power. A plus runner, he must rely on making contact, putting the ball in play and stealing bases from the bottom of the lineup to contribute offensively. (Seifert)

7/20/18: Ole Miss middle infielder Anthony Servideo stood out for his slick defense the very first time I saw him as a freshman in a scrimmage last fall. After seeing him again this week, I remain convinced that Servideo can really defend, and I still think he’s going to hit, despite his .226/.314/.306 line in 62 at-bats as a freshman this spring. Servideo is having a big summer for the Baltimore Redbirds, hitting .380 with six doubles, seven triples, two homers and 29 RBIs, while walking (25) more than he has struck out (22). He’s also stolen 10 bases, and he showed good baserunning instincts in the showcase this week. I clocked him at 4.2 seconds from home to first, an average time for a lefthanded hitter, but his speed plays up because of his savvy on the basepaths. He also showed good plate discipline and a willingness to get hit by pitches (repeatedly). He’s a line-drive hitter with sneaky strength to the gaps in his 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame. But Servideo stands out most for his slick defense at either middle infield position. I saw him shine at shortstop this week, showing smooth, easy actions and a strong, accurate arm. He excels at charging slow rollers and throwing on the run from a variety of slots, and he has soft hands and a quick, clean transfer. Servideo might be limited to second base this spring due to the return of Grae Kessinger at short, but he figures to take over as the Rebels’ shortstop as a junior. (Aaron Fitt)
