Top Stories of 2014: #11 - PBR Office Moves to Manheim
December 16, 2014
By Jacob Gill
Philadelphia Region Director of Scouting
Previously tucked away in a home office on Scarlet Drive in Meadville, PA (waaaaaaay up in the northwest corner of the state, for the geographically-uninitiated), Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania relocated in November to Manheim, PA and has partnered with the re-branded Keystone State Baseball Academy to share office space and facility usage. Keystone State Baseball will serve as the home for all PBR Pennsylvania and West Virginia indoor showcase events.
This move to a centralized location (that happens to be significantly closer to the center of the Pennsylvania) will allow us to further enhance our coverage of high school baseball, in addition to making travel to various parts of the both states more accessible for Director of Scouting Greg Williams and his growing staff. As part of the relocation, Kevin Leitzel joined the PBR team as an Area Scout and Showcase Evaluator following a successful four-year stint as an assistant coach at Bloomsburg University.
We look forward to bringing you expanded coverage of Pennsylvania and West Virginia high school baseball throughout the year. Only 78 days until the first high school practice date and 96 days til Opening Day!
