On the Road to Omaha: PA Products Dot NCAA DI Tournament Rosters

The NCAA Baseball Selection Committee announced the 64-team field for the Division I championships earlier this week. In total, 69 players with Pennsylvania ties, spread over 21 of the participating teams, will start their push toward TD Ameritrade Park and the College World Series today. A complete list of the players is below, along with links to follow their progress. In addition, games will be broadcast on Watch ESPN.

What areas of the state are the players from?

22 - Philadelphia area (16 from PIAA District I, 4 from PAISAA, 2 from District XII)
13 - PIAA District VII
11 - PIAA District XI
 9 - PIAA District III
 5 - PIAA District II
 2 - PIAA District VI
 2 - PIAA District X

There are also five Pennsylvania residents who attended out-of-state high schools.
