Myers stands 6-foot-0 173-pounds and has an athletic frame. On the mound he throws from a mid 3/4 slot with arm side run at 80-82 mph. His changeup sat at 73 mph, not enough separation from his fastball but used good hand speed. His curveball had 11/5 shape at 68 mph. Mechanically he needs to land more on the ball of his foot but the rest is smooth with a good tempo and throws in a power position. With the bat his setup is balanced with a very small toe lift and stride. His swing is powerful (88 exit velocity) and his bat path is level with good extension after contact. At SS he shows smooth baseball actions with plus footwork. His glove is out in front of his body with a clean quick transfer and strong arm.

Myers is a strong, athletic kid that plays outside linebacker for the Bishop Grimes HS football team. On the year he has recorded 18 tackles, 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. It takes a gifted athlete to play the outside linebacker position, covering the edge on run blocking, dropping back in pass coverage, and disguising blitz packages from the QB are all things Myers does well. He is also involved on the offensive side of the ball as a wide receiver. He has 15 completions on 17 attempts for 120 total yards and 1 touchdown. He's averaging 8 yards per catch on the season.

Analysis:
There was never a doubt about Myers being a next level guy, so it comes as no surprise to see him doing big things for his Bishop Grimes HS Football team. He is called onto pitch for his HS team, where he showcases above average stuff for central New York. But his path to the next level, in my opinion, is somewhere in the infield or corner OF. He oozes athletic projection, showing above average hands with the bat, and smooth actions with the glove, and a low 80's arm across the diamond. We really like his makeup and are looking forward to seeing him this February 15th, at our All-State Preseason Invite Only event.
