Tommy Gillman

 

The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is 2016 catcher Tommy Gillman from Columbine High School.

 

The 5-8 155lb Gillman impressed PBR and the 5A Jeffco league last year as a sophomore who was in charge of a very impressive pitching staff.  Gillman who receives the ball with soft hands and moves well laterally to block pitches also has a strong arm and quick release.  Last year Gillman’s pop time was consistently around 2.05.  At the plate, Gillman switch hits and displays good power to the gaps.  PBR is looking for Gillman to continue to grow from his exposure this summer and to make a significant impact on the state in 2015.
