PBR Colorado Senior Writer
The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is 2015 grad 1B/P for Rye High School
Trent Hughes:
Hughes is a 6-foot-3, 190-pounder right-handed pitcher and first baseman with a huge upside. Good size and athletic ability and can run for a big guy. Plays at Class 2A Rye High School and helped lead Thunderbolts to Final Four in Class 2A state tournament. Throws in the low to mid 80s with an over the top arm slot. Good curve ball with late bite and good tilt. As a hitter, tends to have an inside-out swing and likes to hit the ball to right center. Will play on Colorado Rockies scout team in the fall. Uncommitted at this point.
