Colorado Players to Watch in 2015 Series: Jacob Thoning

The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is 2015 2B/MIF Jacob Thoning from Fairview High School.
The 6-0 165lb senior second baseman for the knights has already started 39 games and looks to add to that total when play resumes this year. They say to be successful you have to be strong up the middle; Thoning is the right man for the job in this case. He has great movement both up the middle and in the hole and has great awareness on the field. At the plate, Thoning is a tough out; he amassed a .456 avg and collected 31 hits. He sees a lot of pitches and makes pitchers pay for mistakes over the plate. The Senior will be called upon to help Knights repeat success from 2014.
