Today we are releasing Week 7 update to the Virginia/DC Private School Top 10. Take a look at some notes on a few teams from inside the rankings.
- Paul VI stays in the top spot after locking up the regular season WCAC Championship and will open its tournament Semifinal series today against Good Counsel/Gonzaga.
- Moving up to the number 2 spot is Miller School off of a 4-0 week with wins over Benedictine, St. Anne's-Belfield, and Cape Henry during that stretch. That also runs the Mustangs' current win streak to 13 games in a row.
- Highland had a dominant 4-0 week and St. John's won a pair of tight games against Bishop O'Connell, including Saturday's WCAC Quarterfinal. The Cadets will play a best-of-three WCAC Semifinal series against DeMatha, which started yesterday.
- Collegiate and St. Albans continue to push to get back into the rankings, both with unbeaten weeks.
- Along with our Power 25 on Mondays, we will update our Private School Top 10 every Tuesday.
