On Sunday, Feb. 6, Prep Baseball Report will host the 20th edition of its prestigious, flagship event: the Super 60 Pro Showcase. Since the event’s inception in 2003, more than 300 players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 25 first-round picks and 26 second-rounders.

We've started our march toward the Super 60 by highlighting the prospects set to join us, shining a light on their impressive player profiles that they've groomed through their high school careers, leading them to this point, vying for the attention of the pro scouting community.

You could argue that Carmichael had the best 3 week run out of all the position players for the Blue Jays Scout Team.  He swung a hot bat, with a lot of loud contact, and was very impressive behind the dish both receiving and throwing.  In the box, Carmichael has good rhythm, and doesn’t seem to be in a rush. He has a slight leg kick but is consistently on time and gets powerful swings off. He found multiple barrels thru the 3 weeks and showed some real power potential.  Behind the plate is where Carmichael really caught my eye. He handled the pitching staff extremely well. He blocked at a high level and showed an above average transfer and a strong arm on his throw downs.  This Oklahoma commit continues to boost his stock and will be a fun one to follow this spring.
