3/28/21

 

Physical: 6-foot-2, 180 lb strong, athletic build

Pitching: Side step into a high leg lift with a slight turn, sits into back side drives down in line to the target, gets quality hip-shoulder separation as accelerates against a strong post leg; arm actions works fast up through a clean 3/4 release. FB: Jumps through the zone with life and up to 20" induced vertical break. CB: Sharp 11-5 shape with high spin (2445 RPM) and up to -13" vertical drop and -15" horizontal movement. SL: Tunnels with depth through the zone (2413 RPM / -13" vertical drop / -20" horizontal movement). CH: Thrown at near fastball arm speed with late fade up to 18"

Physical: 6-foot-2, 170 pounds; Long, lean frame.
Pitching: Works up tempo with a high leg lift to a tall stack before getting into the back side as strides out in line finishing with intent. Fluid arm action to a natural 3/4 slot. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 80-83 MPH. Plays with life and ride through the zone; 20.9" vertical rise and up to 15" horizontal run . CB: 69-72 MPH. Sharp, high spin (2192) with 10-4 shape with up to 12.5" vertical drop and 13" horizontal break.  CH: 75-76 MPH. Good feel for it with arm side fade up to 22".

Physical: 6-foot-2, 170 pounds; long, wiry frame. 7.53 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright with feet even and slight bend in knees; lift and replace stride with hands loading down and back. aggressive lower half staying behind the ball with slight uphill path with a 17 degree attack angle and stays on plane at 57% efficiency.  solid contact with present juice to the pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH.
Defensively: Walks into ready position; active foot work playing through the ball routinely. field the ball a bit deep with a confident glove and seamless transfer; ability to vary arm action and release with the play.  INF - 79 MPH.
Pitching: Builds momentum with high leg lift and slight turn before striding to a closed landing creating cross fire action to a repeatable release. Long, fluid arm action to a 3/4 slot averaging 3'5" on the side. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH. Plays with life (Max Bauer Unit 29) and ride through the zone with the vertical rise peaking at 24.4 inches and arm side run peaking at 17.4 inches. CB: 67-69 MPH. 10-4 shape averaging 8.1 inches of vertical drop and 20.8 inches of horizontal movement. SL: 69-70 MPH. Good sell with arm side run peaking at 21.4 inches. 


 

2/15/20

 

Physical: 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Tall; long lanky frame; potential for more weight.
Run: 7.6 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Stance even width apart from his shoulders; high hands; high leg kick; aggressive lower half, but it does cause him to be a little off-balance at times. Level two-handed finish; hard consistent contact; line drives all over the field; does a really nice job of getting hands through the zone.
Power: 81 MPH raw exit velocity. shows some plus power to pull side gap; sprays the ball all over with line drives.
Defense: Choppy footwork as he approaches the ball; would like to see a little more active, smoother footwork; solid glove; attacks the ball well.
Arm: Short 3/4 arm action; slow swing . INF - 75 MPH.

Pitching Delivery: Controlled tempo, builds momentum with leg lift, some coil in lower half striding out slightly closed while shoulders stay in line, accelerate through release to a repeatable finish .
Arm Action: Long, easy arm swing to high 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 80-83 MPH. Downhill plane with life through the zone.
CB: 66-68 MPH. 12-6 action.
CH: 75-76 MPH. firm with arm side fade.

 

7/09/19

 

The 6-foot, 165-pound third baseman featured a lean frame with projectability. The right-handed hitter starts from a balanced, open stance utilizing a quick leg-lift to initiate his swing. Barrel starts pointed towards the pitcher with hands that move back to launch position. Entered the zone with some weight shift and a flat bat-path generating a bat-exit velocity of 79 mph. Displayed average footwork during defensive evaluations with a soft glove hand. Registered throws of 72 mph from his position.
