With a hectic Spring break last week, we give you our week six update to the PBR Virginia/DC Power25.
We have three new faces that enter the Power25 along with three new faces that enter the top five. Enter the top five we see Liberty Christian, Hanover, and Grafton. Grafton come back to the top five after a one week hiatus following their upset loss to the Power25 upset machine Atlee. Hanover has continued their excellent season, coming from unranked to begin the year to now an 11-0 start and looking like a force to be reckoned with in the 4A.
Again holding on the the top two spots in our rankings are Benedictine and St. John's College, both of which are putting together some extremely impressive seasons in the area.
Three new faces enter the fold as James Madison finds their way back in at No. 17 after an impressive spring break swing last week. Also entering the ranks for the first time are VISAA DIII Carlisle along with 6A Yorktown who has quietly put together a very impressive resume so far this season.
With a lot of teams going through spring break last week, you saw a lot of games played, which spread bullpens and endurance thin of each team.
Circling back to where we began, though they are not in the Power25 as of now, the Atlee Raiders have also put together a very interesting resume this season and have received votes for the first time. Three big wins over Deep Run, Godwin, and Grafton are three of the better wins around. Getting that top effort in this back half of the season could see the Raiders get into the mix.
Enough talk, let's take a look at our Power25, Week 6.
