With just over two weeks into the 2013 summer season, we have released our first rankings update from our preseason team rankings. Here’s a look at the top ten and who’s hot and who’s not.
No. 1 Oak Creek remains in the top spot with only one blemish on their record they are winners of five in a row including big wins over then No. 2 ranked Menomonee Falls and No.3 Franklin.
Franklin has moved up into the No. 2 spot after previously ranked No. 2 Menomonee Falls seems to have “fallen” off the tracks lately losing five in a row and out of the top ten, after losing a big contest to Oak Creek.
Whitefish Bay has jumped up into the No. 3 spot with a 9-2 record. Germantown and Homestead have moved up to the No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively.
No. 6 Plymoth, No. 7 Wauwatosa West, No. 8 Kettle Moraine and No. 9 Muskego have all made the ranks for the first time.
Plymoth has been the hottest team in the state of late winning its last nine in a row.
Wauwatosa West is the first team to 10 wins boasting a 10-2 record on the year. Wauwatosa West’s 10 wins include big victories over Germantown and Homestead.
Kettle Moraine leads the Classic Eight conference with a perfect 5-0 record in conference, followed closely by Muskego at 4-1 in conference. Both teams post a 7-2 record overall.
