Unsigned Senior Spotlight: RHP Matthew Champagne

Medium 6-foot, 176-pound frame with present strength in lower half. Right handed pitcher that works from a long arm stroke into high-¾ release with regular effort.  Level shoulders after hands break, lands square, finishing in athletic position. Showed polish to his delivery, commanding the fastball to both sides of the plate at 82-84 mph topping at 85 mph. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with depth at 68-69 mph. Also flashed a quality changeup with deception and thrown with fastball arm speed at 77-78 mph.
