Unsigned Senior Showcase Spotlight: RHP Robby Gray

By Drew Locascio
Illinois Scouting Director

On Jan. 12, at The MAX sports facility in McCook, Ill., PBR will be hosting the winter's Unsigned Senior Showcase. You can find registration information within the previous hyperlink, but we’ll use this post today, as well as the posts following this one leading up to this week’s event, to shine the light on a few of the attending prospects who merit specific mentioning.

Robby Gray (Lake Forest) struck out two in his one inning of work at the GPA Games this past August. Gray, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound, broad-shouldered, right-handed pitcher sat mostly 83-84 mph and spun a sharp curveball that flashed swing-and-miss potential. Gray will be an arm to keep an eye on come Sunday.
