Scouting Report

Underclass Games 6/20/18

Rebok is 6-2 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a short, loose arm action that is quick and normal effort to his delivery. Body is on line throughout delivery until fall off finish. Fastball was 78-80, touching 82, with downward angle and a bit of late run. Curveball was 68-70 with hard 11/5 break and good armspeed. Change-up was 70-72 with good armspeed and heavy fade. Feel for all three pitches, plenty left in the tank as he continues to fill out and develop.

Rebok's velocity was a tick up from when we saw him a few weeks ago. He worked at 76-79 and touched as high as 81. The pitch had some late sink. Threw a true 12/6 curveball with sharp break and a lot of depth when the pitch was down. Good armspeed on curveball coming in at 65-69. Lot of projection left to his frame and an easy arm action make him an arm to watch.

Rebok has a taller lankier frame with a lot of projection left to it. At the plate, he hits from the right side and has a swing that projects to have doubles power as he adds strength. On the mound, threw from a higher three-quarters arm slot with normal effort. Fastball had plane and some run and was 75-77, touching 78 in the windup. Gave up some velocity in the stretch, sitting 73-74. Change-up had sink and good armspeed at 67-69. Curveball had gradual 11/5 break but some shape to it and could tighten into a swing and miss pitch, it ran at 64. An interesting potential two-way prospect to keep an eye on as he adds strength to his frame.
