Offensively, sets up tall in the box with upright posture and front foot just narrowly open. Hands set up even with rear shoulder with loose rhythm prior to load. Slight rock back to gather weight then gets into forward move with a short, controlled stride. Keeps everything short and compact. Hands work inside of the ball as he rotates into contact. All fields type approach with a line-drive swing. 'Hitterish' actions in the box. Controls the barrel. At SS, has shown reliable and consistent actions across multiple events. Light, crisp footwork, especially when moving laterally. Understands how to control his body and the tempo he needs to operate at based on the speed of the play. Quick, fluid hands on the exchange.
