Scouting Report

8/23/22

Uncommitted. 6-3, 175-lbs long, wiry frame w/ lanky limbs and projection. Works strictly from the stretch w/ slightly closed setup and hands set at chest. Leaks towards plate with lower half and lands squared foot before spinning off to 1B side. Long arm action working to low 3/4 slot. FB at 82-86 T87 (1954-2141 rpm) w/ arm side life and some sink. Biting 11/5 action CB at 69-72 (T 2280 rpm) w/ good depth and lands for strikes. Potential to firm up as more of a swing n miss offering. Showed CH 73-76 w/ some potential. Lot of knees and elbows coming at hitters, making for uncomfortable at bats. Feel for two pitch mix and projects to fill out frame after helping lead Eagleville to single A state championship last Spring.

Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 5-foot-10, 127-pounds.
Defense: Body suited for corner infield. Feet move okay, will add to throw with more rhythmic field set up.
Arm: RH. INF - 70 mph. Arm is adequate. Stays true when he's balanced and fields cleanly.
Hit: RHH. Slightly straight up in the stance. Relies on hands for the most part in the swing. Dips barrel trying to do much at times but keeps hands inside and on top of the ball when he stays within himself.
Power: 62 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 8.23 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Out of stretch. Tall on the backside and leans on the front leg as he starts to plate.
Arm Action: RH. Whip like arm action from 3/4 slot.
FB: T74, 70-73 mph. Above average movement with arm-side run. Comes out of hand quickly.
CB: 60 mph. Advanced spin rate on the breaking ball. Late break with sharpness to the shape. Can get slurvish at times.
CH: 63-65 mph. Arm side fade. Comes out of the hand on plane with FB and couples the two pitches together well.
