Hit: LHH. Wide, slightly open stance. Controlled load and small stride with inward rotation. Quick hands and level swing path. Works the ball to all fields.
Power: 86.1 max exit velocity, averaged 77.1 mph. 176’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Long, loose arm action.
Defense: Solid , athletic feet. Fields the ball out front with accuracy on throws.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.
Barrett Breazeale: 2B/OF, (2023) Sumrall, MS. 5-foot-8, 130-pound lean frame. At the plate, Breazeale clocked an exit velocity of 71 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a leg kick to start his swing. Bat speed is some, has simple swing plane and high finish. Found some barrels through his round. Up the middle approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 61 mph; has athletic footwork and a clean exchange. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 69 mph; has smooth footwork and a clean exchange. Used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.74.
