Today, we begin our rollout of uncommitted spotlights highlighting the 2021 class.

Nathan Golubski showcased his skills at 2020 MOKOAN Preseason All-State Feb. 29th. Runs 7 flat 60-yard dash, throws 73 mph across the field with a 90 mph exit velocity. Ranked #93 overall and #2 as a second baseman in Kansas.

Positional Profile: 2B
Body: 5-foot-8, 155-pounds. Strong lower half.
Defense: Fields the ball with two hands out in front, clean exchange, long to release, upright finish on throws.
Arm: RH. INF - 70 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Hit: RHH. Athletic setup, front foot starts closed, quick leg kick trigger, short stride leads to even. Short, level path through the zone.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.21 runner in the 60.

Golubski is a 5-foot-8, 155-pound, right-handed hitting infielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. Golubski has a short and stocky frame, athletic build and shows quick actions at the plate and on the infield. He ran a 7.00 second 60 and 4.65 home-to-first. At the plate, posted an exit velocity of 90 mph, athletic stance, leg lift, longer and in line stride, quick hands, smooth and repeatable swing, sprayed contact during batting practice and showed hard contact to left field. On the infield, quick feet, good range to backhand and forehand, hand tap with transfers, three-quarter release, positional velo of 73 mph across the infield, accurate throws.
