Today, we begin our rollout of uncommitted spotlights highlighting the 2021 class.
Luke Johnson showed off his two way athleticism at PBR Building Champion Scout Day June 3rd. Luke's fastball maxed at 84 mph, curveball sat 72-73 mph and changeup sat 72-76 mph. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash, and touch 81 mph from the outfield. Ranked #66 in the state of Kansas.

1/27/18 - Johnson is a 6-foot 150-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Kansas 2021 class. He ran a 7.50 60 and has an 80 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, minimal hand movement, in line stride, gap to gap approach, short and compact, hands work inside the ball. On the infield, high three quarters release, hands and feet work in sync during exchange, quick to the ball, quick transfer, 73 mph positional velocity.
