We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at 2022 RHP Gavin Stevenson (Basic Academy).

RHP Gavin Stevenson: Large athletic frame, listed 6-1 215. Stevenson is a right-hander that has a simple and repeatable delivery, consistent mechanics. Throws from a high ¾ slot with a short tight arm circle. Moves quickly down the mound with intent. His fastball topped out at 87 with max spin rate of 2104, a breaking ball 71-76 and changeup at 74-77 that showed some sink and AS run. Stevenson has a solid feel for the strike zone with good pitch definition. Size, strength, and arm action will likely profile as a reliever down the road if he continues to pitch.
