Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-11, 185-pounds. Stocky, athletic frame.
Hit: RHH. Wide, balanced stance. Small load and stride. Quick hands that move directly to contact. Line drive approach with ability to hit to all fields.
Power: 90.1 max exit velocity, averaged 85.5 mph. 314’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 75 mph. Quick arm action.
Defense: 1.91-2.05 pop times. Very quick feet and strength in arm which resulted in solid pop times. Good direction on throws to third base. Next level body positioning on blocks and bunts.
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.

Hallas Lawson: C/OF, (2024) Hernando High School, MS. 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic sturdy build. Advanced in the box, Lawson clocked an exit velocity of 86 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth slow load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a level swing plane and high good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive line drive approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 73 mph; shows a quick clean exchange, athletic feet, and next level hands. recorded pop times of 2.00-2.12. Has athletic setup. From an-over-the-top slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.85.
