Brayden Zirkle: 2B/OF, (2021) Shawnee Heights, KS. 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. In the box, Zirkle recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in a tall stance with a tight load, then uses a leg kick just before his swing. Has flat swing plane, average bat speed and level finish. He Barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; has consistent feet, a lengthy exchange and sure hands. Had a long arm action with an-over-the-top slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.13.

Zirkle is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 7.19 60 and a 4.68 home to first.  He had an 82 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, tall set up, thin base, some hand load, widens out during stride, level path, stays balanced, gap to gap line drives, repeats swing.  On the infield, over the top arm slot, stays under control with footwork, clean transfer and throw, mostly accurate throws, 72 mph positional velocity.
