Uncommitted Spotlight: 2024 RHP/3B Dom Tozzi (Camp Hill)

 

Physical: Strong, projectable 5-foot-10, 170lb frame. 7.55 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Wide, balanced stance with bad intentions from a deep hand position. Utilized a barrel-tip and leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a whippy, aggressive path into the hitting zone. Plenty of torque created for a T99 mph exit velocity, up to a 324 foot distance. Lofty approach that carried the ball.

Defensively: The third baseman featured smooth actions at the hot corner with some tempo and choppy footwork. Ranged to glove-hand side and delivered a live 88 mph arm across the dirt.

Pitching: RHP. Worked out of the stretch-only; high stack position and finishes with power potential. 87-90 mph FB (2341) and upper-70’s SL act as a 1-2 punch for swing/miss, mixing a killed 79-80 mph CH.
