Uncommitted Spotlight: 2022 Jackson Hiatt

Rocco Iervasi
PBR Florida Director of Operations/Area Scout

This spring we will be highlighting players throughout the state with Uncommitted Spotlights. We will highlight one 2022, 2023, and 2024 player each week looking for a school to call home. The state of Florida is full of uncommitted players who have the talent to play at the next level. These players deserve as much exposure as they can get in order to help them find the right home.

Today, we will highlight 2022 Jackson Hiatt. Jackson is a 1B/3B from Pensacola Catholic High School. Has a long frame at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds. Outside of high school, Jackson plays travel ball with West Florida Baseball Academy. Hiatt was a standout at the 2021 Senior State Games representing the North Region. Displayed raw power in BP with a top exit velo of 99 mph. Hiatt has been swinging it well so far this Spring batting .543 with 5 homeruns and 27 RBI for Pensacola Catholic.
