Uncommitted Spotlight: 2020 RHP Andrew Baughn
December 3, 2019
Andrew Baughn, '20, is an athletic pitcher with a developed frame at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds that carries a quiet confidence with him on the mound. The senior from Rancho High School recently attended the Uncommitted Upperclass where he made the Top Prospect list after an impressive showing during his bullpen with an easy, repeated delivery, a fastball up to 88 and feel for each of his three secondary pitches. The weekend following the event, Prep Baseball Report attended a Rancho fall game where Baughn used his four pitch mix to keep at talented San Dimas (CA) team off balance, holding them to only 1 earned run. This is a high ceiling arm that projects more velo with added strength and shouldn't be on the market for much longer as one of the better remaining arms in town.
Andrew Baughn gives up one earned run against a talented San Dimas team out of California, effectively using his four pitch mix to keep them off balance.
