Scouting Report

10/20/19

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.06 runner.  Narrow open stance.  Aggressive load and swing.  Turns through swing well.  Uses the whole field with mainly line drive contact.  Good contact with some pull pop.  80 mph exit velocity.  IF- Average feet and moves well to field.  Glove works and can play high.  Quick arm to release.  85 mph arm strength with above average carry and good accuracy.  On mound- Worked from stretch.  Good balance and tempo down mound.  Lands across body creating angle to hitter.  Throws from a ¾ arm slot with long and loose arm action.  Ball jumps out of hand.  Fastball is straight at 86-88 mph.  Curveball has 12/6 break with tight spin and good shape at 72-74 mph.  Slider has 10/4 break with good spin and small shape thrown at 78-79 mph.  Change-up is 72-74 with average fade action.  A follow arm in 2021 class.
