3/15/20

Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 5-11, 162-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Narrow balanced stance Toe tap and hand load. Flat swing plane. Average hands. Middle approach with ground ball and line drive contact
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 86 mph. Long and quick arm with carry and accuracy
Defense: Average hands and has a high fielding stance. Feet are active and works around baseball to field.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Quick tempo into rocker step delivery. Balanced through delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm action. Varies arm slot.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Heavy w/ run and sink.
CB: 72-74 mph. Easy 11/5 shape. Flashes sharp spin and depth.
CH: 77-78 mph. Heavy w/ solid fade and sink action.
KN: 69-72 mph. Avg. action.

 

10/06/19

'21 RHP Korey Dahlberg threw a solid game for Northstar.  Fastball was sitting 82-83 mph. Slider was at 69-71 mph with good break. Smaller frame, works quick, and fills up the strike zone. 

 

6/16/19

5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.59 runner.  Open stance with relaxed hands.  Leg lift and strides to square.  Hands load back and slight arm bar at times.  Mid/pull approach with mainly line drive contact.  Average barrel contact with 78 mph exit velocity.  IF- Solid feet to field.  Good glove.  Fields through ball out in front with sure hands.  82 mph arm strength with average carry and accuracy.  On mound- Smaller frame.  Good tempo and balance through delivery.  Good direction down mound.  Throws from a lower ¾ arm slot.  Fastball is 77-80 mph with some sinking action.  Curveball has 11/5 break with average shape and depth thrown at 66-68 mph.  Inconsistent feel for knuckle ball at 68-69 mph. 

 

3/16/19

5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; builds tempo, athletic delivery, long arm swing, delivers from lower ¾ slot. Fastball was 77-80 mph with solid life and late run and sink. Sweeping breaking ball with tight spin and late depth. Slight running action on firm changeup. Knuckleball shows avg. zero spin and movement. 7.62 runner. Open stance, rolling shoulder load, slight arm bar, flat line drive swing, occasional bat speed, consistent solid contact, 76 mph exit velocity. Active feet, works around and through ball, sure hands, has rhythm and tempo to field, above avg. arm action, 83 mph arm across infield.
