PBR Future Games

Projectable 6-3, 195-pound frame with athleticism and physical tools present. Schaedel turned out a 7.12 at the Future Games and has been as low as a 7.02 at a PBR event. Has the arm strength and athleticism to stay at either corner outfield spot. Is a capable defender at third base, but long term see Schaedel staying in corner outfield or first base where he is a very solid defender. At the plate Schaedel displayed big time power during his workout day. Exit velocity via Trackman was up to 101 mph and had the 10th furthest ball hit via Trackman at 388.93 feet that travelled onto the outfield of the adjoining field. Schaedel has big upside offensively with the power to hit in the middle of the order, as well as offers some positional versatility in the corners.

 

 

Preseason All-State III

Schaedel is 6-3 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, strong at contact with extension through the ball, power present, exit velocity was 98. In the outfield, gets behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 87. Showed versatility taking balls in the infield, where his velocity was 82. Ran a 7.02 60 yard dash.
