VA/DC Unsigned Senior Games

Hogge is 6-2 with an athletic 205 pound frame that has some strength present in the lower half and projection still left. He throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, very short loose quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Some drop and drive in his delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands slightly closed with an athletic finish and a bit of recoil. Fastball was 82-85, with some late armside run that gets a bit of depth to it as well. Curveball was 71-73 with good armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 76-77 with good armspeed and some late fade to it. Slider 77-78 with good armspeed and late hard 10/4 break to it. Around the zone with all of his pitches.

TPG East II

Hogge has an athletic 6-foot-2 and 205-pound frame with long limbs and some present lower half strength. Controlled and quicker paced delivery with some fluidity and late intent to it. Works down the mound with ease and maintains slightly uphill hips and shoulders throughout the simple delivery while landing slightly open. Arm action is shorter with late acceleration from a funky three-quarter arm slot and hides the ball well until release. Commanded both sides of the plate with a FB that sat 83-85 mph and topped at 86 with some slight arm side run. Showed feel for a sharp downward 11/5 curveball that has depth down in the zone at 72-74 mph. The changeup sat at 75-76 mph and had some fade to the arm side, also featured a slider at 76-77.
