Since the early summer, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 400+ players at showcase events, Limited Series Tournaments and the National Future Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the winter PBR PA will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICk HIT

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Miner continues to make strides forward the more our scouts see him perform. He oozes raw athleticism (6.88 60), lanky build standing 6-foot-2, 166-pounds with room to physically develop. At the plate, the barrel is loose, long stride for timing, hands are strong and compact, natural lift through contact with full extension, signs of juice to the gaps. Defensively, he's aggressive to the ball, moves his entire body towards his target with plenty of carry on his throws. On the bump the sky's the limit for the southpaw. Fast pace delivery, hands swing over his head for timing, releases from a 3/4 power slot with plenty of hand-speed. FB peaked 87 and there's more in the tank, CB shows late depth sitting 72-74.  If Miner spends this off-season cleaning up some of his "raw" movements, expect to see huge things from the western PA Prospect.

Preseason All-State Tour: Release expected next week. Five locations across the keystone state.
