PBR Wisconsin Staff

As we approach the end of 2021, we're taking account of the PBR Wisconsin player profile pages to determine the players in our backyard whose profiles earned the most attention throughout the year. We're counting down the top-10 profiles in the state that received the most views, from No. 10 and on, concluding our countdown on New Year's Day by revealing the most-viewed profile of the year.

Coming in at the No. 2 spot of our top-10 most-viewed profiles of 2021 is RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford, 2023; Arkansas commit). Questad currently sits atop our state's ‘23 rankings and is just outside of the top-100 nationally, ranked No. 103 overall. The sturdy, strong right-hander has long showed innate arm strength that has become his trademark, and his increasing offspeed feel has elevated his prospect stock. He closed the 2021 season in the fall with an exclamation point, impressing on the national stage with advanced velocity from an even more efficient, low-effort delivery.

In our looks, he's reached a 94 mph high from the mound, setting himself apart from his peers, and it helped catapult him to the top of the state ranks headed into 2022. Another offseason of diligent work can keep Questad marching toward the lofty goals he has for himself this coming year and beyond.

NO. 2: DYLAN QUESTAD

Scouting Report

9/3/21

Ranked inside the top 150 nationally, Questad takes over the top spot with an impressive jump to his offerings. He stands at 6-foot, 190 pounds with premium athleticism on the mound. The offering leads with an explosive fastball – topping 94 mph – that stands out amongst his peers from a national perspective. Through multiple looks this year, his fastball generated a one-of-a-kind designation in his Wisconsin peer group. National cross-checking sources have also noted he spins a hard slider (at roughly 2,400 rpm) that flashes swing-and-miss action, and a firm changeup thrown at arm speed. As one of the top uncommitted arms in the country, we expect to see a high profile commitment coming down the pipe.
