Our countdown of the Top 10 Most Viewed Texas Profiles of 2020 Continues today with Caden Mitchell

The No. 17 prospect in the TX 2023 class. Mitchell has separated himself as one of the top catchers in his class. The Illinois commit has a shot to shine both offensively and defensively and we look forward to following his development through the high school season and into the summer.

Scouting Report

Behind the plate, Mitchell has a quick exchange paired with an accurate arm. He has shown the ability to make quality blocks on tough pitches. At the plate, Mitchell has shown some natural power and feel for the barrel while driving balls in the gap. Mitchell has a prototypical catchers body right now with a stout lower half but moves athletically and bounces around on the field.

There is plenty more to come as Mitchell continues to grow and mature as a ball player.
