To continue to look back at this year’s top stories, today we will reproduce another article that received both local and national attention. The 2015 Under Armor All-American was not only well-represented by the state of Florida, but the players from the Sunshine State stood out in impressive fashion.
This crop of players showed off their velocities from the mound and their power from the plate as multiple players from Florida sat in the low 90s with their fastballs, Bo Bichette won the homerun derby, and Michael Amditis hit a deep grand slam to left field in the game. Almost everyone realizes the depth of talent that Florida produces every year, but it is performances like the ones shown at the Under Armor All-American Game that set these players apart when it comes time for draft.
