SEASON PREVIEW
Coach Koehl and the Rangers look to reload after a stellar 2017 campaign that saw them finish the season 25-9, getting knocked off by the state runner-up (San Antonio Reagan). Two big keys to the Rangers offense this year will be 2018 C C.J. Horn and 2018 2B Mason Pierce. Last year Horn hit .330 with 15 RBI and was selected 1st Team All-District. Pierce is a sure handed middle infielder and accomplished football player (committed to Colorado School of Mines for football). Look for returning senior pitchers Eric Reece and Ethan Rivera to log significant innings on the mound, both had sub-2.00 ERA's last season.
