6/25/19

 

A strong projectable frame at 6-foot-0 tall, 200 pounds. Ran a 7.13 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- The right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance with loose hands. Uses a slight leg lift for timing and balance before entering the hitting zone. Has a quick bat and slight lift at the point of contact.  Gets good use of the lower half and full extension after the point of contact. Finishes with a one hand follow through. Top exit velocity was 102 MPH. Defensively- As a third baseman, shows active footwork. Gets himself in a good position when fielding the baseball. Shows above average funnel actions and gets rid of the baseball quickly from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity across the diamond was 89 MPH.

A strong 6-foot-0, 200 pounds. Ran a 6.99 60 yard dash. Offensively- stands in the box with feet shoulder width apart. Uses a slight knee to knee leg lift. Rest bat on the shoulder before going into a simple load. Displayed effortless pop during the hitting portion. Balanced throughout the swing. Exit velocity was 92 MPH. Defensively- as an OF, aggressive to the baseball. Smooth exchange to a strong quick release on throws to the plate. Top throwing velocity was 88 MPH. As an Inf, moves well laterally. No wasted movement on a smooth exchange and effortless actions on throws across the infield. Must follow going forward.
