6/26/19

6-foot-2, 190-pounds with natural strength throughout an athletic frame with room to add strength to both upper and lower-half. Pasqualotto works downhill from a high 3/4 slot with normal effort out front. Fastball featured riding life through the zone at 90-94, and received multiple swings-and-misses in this look against a quality lineup. Poised and confident with quiet intensity on the mound. Attacks hitters. Visible pronation on the changeup, which he threw confidently at 75-78 with fastball intent, and dove out of the zone as a swing-and-miss offering. Also flashed some feel for 11/5 breaking ball in mid 70s. The arm works short and quick, and he gets stronger use of the lower-half, driving down the mound after an even-paced, repeatable delivery. Also shows some ability as a position player, and that athleticism should help his progress on the mound.
