Scouting Report

7/10/18 - University of Arkansas commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound, right-handed hitting infielder, strong build with quick twitch actions, live strong body. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, lift and hang stride. Path is short and level, quick hands generate bat speed and strength, ability to handle the wood bat well. 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively likely profiles at third base, gets easy carry across the diamond, loose arm is accurate at 91 mph across. Hands played clean, fluid feet, exchange can get long at times. 7.24 runner in the 60.

Wosman is a 6-foot-2 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class, an Arkansas commit.  He ran a 7.13 60 and a 4.50 home-to-first.  He has an 86 mph exit velo, one of the top velos for the event. At the plate, gap-to-gap approach with mostly pull side line drives, flashed power, quick hands and bat speed, level though the zone, balanced set up, repeats. On the infield, aggressive through the ball, momentum though the catch, high three quarters release, accurate throws with carry, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top velos for the event.
