Scouting Report
Jupiter Fall 17 - 2018 Micah Dallas (Home School, TX), a 6-foot-2, 207-pound Texas Tech recruit, pitched in relief for Rawlings National Scout Team and was nothing short of dominant. Dallas has a long draw in the back and creates wicked heavy sink with his 90-91 mph fastball. Then he put away hitters with a hard, lateral 82-84 mph slider that had late dive. His slider is a true swing-and-miss offering at the next level. Dallas struck out four with no walks in three innings, surrendering one hit while throwing 22 of his 27 pitches for strikes.
10.12.17 2018 RHP Micah Dallas (Home School) was his usual self. The Texas Tech recruit threw his fastball 90-91 mph with heavy arm side run and sink, while mixing in his 82 mph swing-and-miss slider with tight, late 10/4 break.
10.04.17 2018 RHP Micah Dallas (Home School) showed the best overall stuff of the night. The right-handed Texas Tech recruit stands 6-foot-2, 210-pounds with a sturdy frame, and is currently ranked No. 18 in Texas. He works from a ¾ slot with a loose, whip-like arm swing and max effort delivery. He gets inside his fastball, turning it over with outstanding late life and heavy arm side sink at 90-92 mph. Dallas has a plus swing-and-miss slider that he throws with fastball arm speed at 82-83 mph with tight rotation, short, late break and 10/4 shape. For good measure he mixed in an 82-83 mph changeup.
06.20.17 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound, stocky frame. The right-hander works from ¾ slot with a max-effort delivery and a quick arm stroke. His fastball was mostly 89-91 mph with good arm side life, bumping 92 mph once. His slider is swing and miss with short, sharp, late, lateral break at 80-82 mph.
