FB 88, CB 76, CH 82-83

04.10.17 - Texas recruit. Neely has become an effective tool out of the Churchill bullpen this year. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound right-hander is highlighted by a crisp and heavy fastball ranging from 86-88 mph and topping out at 90 mph. Neely creates a harsh slope with the ball from his high ¾ arm slot that works well against hitters on both sides of the plate, but when he does struggle it is typically from pulling down on the fastball and spiking it short of the plate. He has a devastating 12-6 curveball at 74-76 mph, and gets swings and misses. His changeup is his third best pitch that he throws occasionally and flashes fade and depth.

11.05.16

6-foot-8, 210-pound, lean, wiry, projectable frame. The right-hander works from a high slot with long arm action and an up-tempo delivery wasting no time between pitches. With the projectable frame and high slot he creates good angle on his fastball at 84-86 mph. He threw his curveball from 75-77 mph.
