Lefty jumped out for his velocity, featuring a consistent 83-86 FB throughout his outing, consisting of 65 pitches.  6-1, 180-pounder features a medium athletic frame w/ lean strength, super projectable.  Pitches from the stretch only from the third base side of the rubber into ¾ release.  Front foot driven vs. back foot driven, has another couple of ticks easily accessible once he learns to utilize his lower half consistently.  Quick arm w/ projectable velocity.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Big downer CB showed proper rotation and shape.  At it’s best to steal strikes.  Would benefit from a SL and arm-slot suggests he could spin a projectable above average SL.  Featured the CH on this day as his primary off-speed pitch, showed arm-speed w/ fade.  Around the zone w/ his 3-pitch mix, most comfortable with the FB-CH combo, 39 of 52 of those pitches were for strikes.  Projects to command.
