SS Connor Beichler (Owasso HS, OK) has a small frame at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds and shows solid bat speed from both sides of the plate. He takes a good path from the left side with some twitch. He’s not as strong at contact as he is from the right, but everything looks good. He was 1-for-2 with a double, dropping the head on an 89 mph fastball and hooking it down the right field line. He challenged the right fielder to make a throw and made it safely to second. He was 4.3 on the turn. Beichler, an Oklahoma recruit, also moves well around the infield and makes strong throws from all angles.
