2/16/20

Preseason All-State Session II

Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 6’1”, 160 pounds. Long, athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, squares stance with a wider base. Rock back load with a short stride and some hands separation. Short to the ball creating quick bat speed through the hitting zone. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement. Slightly uphill swing path with a nice gap-to-gap approach. 
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Gap-to-gap pop with more developing.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Throws with longer arm action from a mid three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Gets around the ball and fields it out in front. Works through the ball with quick feet and clean exchanges. Showed some range and ability to throw from various arm slots. 
Run: 4.53 home-to-first time.

2/23/19

MD Preseason All State

Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 140-pounds with some projection left to it. Hits with a slightly wider base and shows some athleticism in his stance. Pronounced leg lift to striding closed with hands back in a strong hitting position. Had a small pause at stride before a short path to the ball. Slightly uphill swing path and was pull-side dominant with line drive tendencies. Exit velocity was 76 mph. Active feet on approach in the infield, fielding the ball out front with solid glove presentation, and a quick clean exchange. Arm action was longer with average arm speed and threw from a low three-quarters slot. Positional velocity was 71 mph. Home-to-first time was 4.46.

2019 Diamondskills All American Camp

5-foot-11, 140-pound athletic frame. Posted a 7.37 60 time. Starts in an athletic slightly open stance, gets back in line with a toe tap to stride, hands have a start and stop load with an uphill bat path. Utilizes the middle of the field well and barrels stays through the hitting zone with a high upright finish. Exit velocity was 73 mph. Feet are active early, gets to the ball and plays through it with soft hands. Throws from a longer low three-quarter arm slot with a positional velocity of 69 mph.
