Southern Wisconsin Open: Statistical Analysis

On Friday, June 22 the Southern Wisconsin Open took place at Stampfl Field in Verona, WI. Bleak weather conditions challenged the itinerary, but participants completed every aspect of the pro-style workout. Included in said workout was a 60-yard dash, positional workouts and pitcher bullpens. Here's a look at the numbers from last week's event.

TOP 60 YARD DASH
Ben Nelson (Oconomowoc, 2020) ran the quickest 60 of the Southern Wisconsin Open. Luke Schraufnagel (Arrowhead, 2019) finished second with a 7.35, just ahead of Cameron Weber (Holmen, 2020) who trailed closely running a 7.36.

State-ranked Tyler Denu (Mount Horeb, 2019) clocked an 87 mph heater at Stampfl Field. A pair of 2020s tossed an 81 mph fastball, while 2022 grad Gabriel Richardson (Eau Claire North) helped close out the board at 80.

Aside from Weber's appearance on the 60-yard leaderboard, he topped all exit velos with a 91 mph showing. John Ferguson (Verona Area, 2021) and Hunter Lanrath (Wausau West, 2020) both finished with 89s. Mason Hunt (Oconomowoc, 2019) and Denu (Mount Horeb, 2019) followed with 88s.
