Prep Baseball Report

Senior Spotloght: INF Kobe Braddock

Phil Kerber
Georgia Scouting Director

Our goal at Prep Baseball Report is to promote high school players, and give them the exposure they need to be able to play at the next level. With the 2020 high school season in limbo, we want to continue to be able to promote players, even when baseball is not being played. Starting today, we will be spotlighting several uncommitted prospects to help them get the exposure they need to play at the next level.

We have known about INF Kobe Braddock (River Ridge, 2020) for quite some time, watching him mature from a 5-foot-11 sophomore to a now 6-foot-2 senior, and developing strength throughout his frame. An athletic prospect, Braddock has really come into his own at the plate and at the hot corner. He has added strength to his frame and with that has come the ability to drive the ball with a line drive approach. Defensively, he has always been impressive with sure hands and clean footwork. His growth and maturity, coupled with his athleticism, has added range to his game at third.

Kobe Braddock

Scouting Report

2/12/20 - Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 175 pounds with a proportionally strong build. Advanced bat-to-ball skills. Had a standout game with two hits, including a triple. Calm stance with quiet rhythm. Level swing and stays on line. Good athleticism at third base. Showed off ability by snatching a line drive ona jumping for.

3/01/19 -- Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitting infielder, lean athletic build. Offensively, balanced setup, short stride, no load, maintains balance through contact. Hands work quickly and athletically through the zone, barrel path is short and level, line drive type hitter

3/23/18 - Strong compact build for the sophomore.  Appears to be sure handed and feet stay underneath him well.  Balanced approach at the plate, with short compact swing.  Has good strength for a sophomore and will continue to get stronger.
