The LHH OF/LHP started off his day running a solid 6.85 60 showing above avg. athleticism.  He followed that up by throwing 91 from the outfield.  His throws showed good carry and accuracy. In the batters box he starts with a pretty balanced squared stance.  He has some natural loft in his swing and showed the ability to drive the ball with some authority to all fields.  He had a max exit velo of 95.5 during his bp session, and his blast numbers show the athleticism and explosiveness that Martinez has.  In the game he also showed well, having a mature approach and goo strike zone awareness. Martinez also pitches some, although not in this setting.  With the way his arm plays in the OF, seeing Martinez on the mound could be intriguing.
